Treasure Inn – Movie

I’ve been splurging my money like hell recently, if I can’t find a job soon, I’m really going to live a complete Hikkikomori’s life until I can finally find a job haha.

Anyway, went to watch this movie yesterday. I really seldom pay to watch a Hong Kong movie, but this time I went to watch this is because of my Nicholas Tze!!! Other than this point, there isn’t any other reason why I went. I do like the other guy (Zhang Jia Hui, don’ remember his christian name, or did he have any?), but not that much.

This movie still carried the style of movies we’ve watched in the 90′s, just that with a bigger budget. It’s pretty similar to the style of Stephen Chow’s past movies, of course mainly because the script writer and the director is the same one, which is Wong Jing. I never actually particularly liked this guy, but the actors / actresses he got for the movies are normally those that I take a liking to.

The movie was quite a disappointment, I mean it’s quite funny at some point, but it’s er, pretty lame jokes. One that you might laugh a little the first time you saw it, but you would just seen it through calmly the second time you watched it. Actually, I think I wouldn’t even have laughed it if I wasn’t in the theater.

Well, I really just went to watch this show for my NIcholas Tze, if not, I wouldn’t wouldn’t wouldn’t have watched the show.

Ayz, Asian’s computer graphics still couldn’t hold a candle to the westerners’ one.

Mr. Popper’s Penguins – Movie

I watched this movie because of the penguins actually. Throughout the whole of the trailer I’ve seen in the theater, the only thing(s) I’ve caught attention of in this movie were the penguins, and thus of I went to watch this with my friend. What really shocked me was she actually agreed on watching it either, doesn’t seem like it’s the kind of movies she would have asked me to go watch with her. Or maybe cuz the penguins were really cute.

It’s not bad as a movie which you wanna go with your family and spend the weekend nights with. It was funny, nice, quite touching in some way ( or not, because my eyes were dry all the way ), homely.

I’m very curious as to whether the penguins were real or not. I went to this movie thinking that the penguins can’t be real, but throughout the movies I’m like, “Are they real? Are they real? Are they real?”. God, it didn’t seem so but I sound like this 5 year old kindergarten kid now that I put them down in words. The second most common thing I kept saying throughout the movie was “Omg!! Super cute!!” and “So cute!!”. I must have sounded really like a pain in the ass repeating myself over and over hehe. Let me say thing one more time,

THE PENGUINS WERE SO DAMN CUTE!!!!

The penguins were really too much, acting like humans, as in, it understood human languages and was pretty human in some ways. So I concluded that the penguins should be animations. Very real animations.

I never quite understood the charm of Jim Carrey, only knowing that he was funny when he acted as the mask in The Mask (Hey! It rhymes hoho). So I can’t really talk about his charms here haha.

Anyway, if you are having stress, or if you really like furry soft thingies, you can consider watching this show.

PENGUINS ARE CUTE!!!

And I’m off to watch my hubby’s show tomorrow xDDDD

Korean Songs

How I wish I could rap along with Big Bang’s songs.

But then again, I can’t even rap in languages I know, like Eminem. I can’t maintain an angry tone even though I’m an angry kid. Tch.

Whenever the rap part comes in, the mouth opens, and then it’s damn saddening to realise that you can’t follow up with the rap at all LOL!

X Men : First Class – Movie

I don’t even remember when I’ve watched this movie, I’m guessing it’s 6 days ago, which is last Monday. I didn’t have much mood to blog recently, cuz I’m busy watching Running Man!!! Or maybe it’s just I’m lazy to blog wahahaha.

Have no idea why I went to watch this movie. Just mentioned that I don’t like watching shows that have the word “Man” in it, examples of such movies are “spiderman”, “superman” and then I ended up watching this, the word is “Men” though, hehe. I didn’t have much choices then, I’ve already watched Kung Fu Panda 2, Pirates of The Caribbean 4. As for the other available <Now Showing> movies like Hang Over 2, I heard it’s nice, only problem is I didn’t watch the first one. Now, there’s a similar problem, I didn’t watch any of the X-Men series before, so why am I watching this? This brilliant friend of mine decided that because this X-Men is before everything happens, so if we watch this, it wouldn’t be weird. That sounds quite right too, so we decided to watch this. I’ve seen the trailer of this movie twice while watching POTC and Kung Fu Panda 2, I’m really quite interested too.

Reality has proven that, I think my friend and I are the only ones in the whole theater that is clueless throughout the whole movie. I remembered there was this Magnito (did I spelled it correctly?) in the series, the heavy dot though, is that I’m not sure this guy is good or bad hahahaha (which is a very important thing to note). I deduced from the name itself that this guys deals with metal (which is correct) and it was also later revealed in the movie. Then, since I only know of this person in the movie, so I thought this guy should be the good guy. I kept thinking if this is the good guy, then who is the bad guy? Professor X came along, and then I deduced that this guy should be the bad guy. There’s a lot of movies, when involved with those supernatural powers, it’s natural that the Professors are the bad guys. So in the end, I happily ended up having this weird conclusion, and it’s only until the end end end of the movie that I realized that it’s completely wrong.

The moral of the story is that, watching the very very first ep of a series of movies that has already been published doesn’t mean that you would understand everything that’s gonna happen later on.

Anyway, back to the movie. It’s really not bad, at least it got a person who is very uninterested in “Man” movies to be interested in “Men” movies for once, and I’m thinking of watching the rest of the “X-Men” series. Only thing that is stopping me is I’m too lazy to get those to watch. Wait till I’m really too too too bored then I will do something about it.

One funny thing about this movie is that, after watching the whole movie and moving out of the theater, I realized that the only name I remembered is actually the bad egg’s name. I can’t recall any of the name of the people that has appeared in the movie poster as above. As far as I could have remembered, I keep hearing a lot of people calling “Sebastian Shaw”. The good guys (as above) called “Sebastian Shaw”, parties that belonged to nowhere called “Sebastian Shaw”, random people that appeared called “Sebastian Shaw” and a file folder is being labelled as “Sebastian Shaw”. So in the end when I walked out of the theater, all I could remembered was “Sebastian Shaw”. What the U)*#)!(*$@.

This movie, is quite worth watching, please get your ass down to the theater to watch it now before it disappeared from the face of the movie theater~
