Trip To Malacca – Genting

Don’t have much to write about actually, cuz it’s already like the second week I’m back here in Singapore, so I’m gonna just post some pictures and put some random comments, and then when I feel like it, I’ll blog about Hunger Game next. Argh, why am I so behind on posts.

Oh Wow. I just realised there’s a new function for wordpress where I can put all the images together! LOL.

No animals / thingies were harmed in the process.

Just a random thing, bad thing about using a soap : There’s a risk of the whole thing dropping into the toilet bowl. Eg. Happened to me yesterday.

My First Casino Experience

I don’t know whether to be happy or unhappy about this, but I managed to sneak into Genting’s Casino for the first time in my life. This is so memorable I’d have to keep this blog post forever in my blog, I should consider printing this, frame it up and hang this somewhere on the wall in my house. The happy thing is, I have finally managed to get into Casino, and I have always wanted to get into a Casino, remember the dream I always had before? I think I told this to you guys before, the aims in life I wanna to achieve when I reached 21 :

  1. Watch a R21 porno film in the theater
This is actually quite impossible to achieve, because those R21 films are only being shown in the ulu pandan kind of theater which is somewhere in Chinatown. That place, has been known widely that there are a lot of old uncles that goes there for you-know-what and then it is pretty much clear that there will be a lot of se bei beis there. I don’t even want to imagine what will happen when the “scenes” are showing, I think the same thing would happen in the theater while the show is going on, ew.
Though I had made a pact with one of the LOSErs to watch R21 movie when we’re 21, I don’t think it’s going to happen, and I think that muddle-head don’t remember this either haha.
  2.  Casino
I thought this is only going to happen when my birthday officially reached. Well, I finally got a taste of this.
  3. Go into those 18 restriction shops
Actually this could have been achieved 3 years ago, but because even though I’m a pervert at nature, I still need to maintain some reputation, especially to strangers, so I don’t dare to go into those shops.
This is not too much of something to regret about, I have long since given up on achieving this.
Let me explain how I managed to sneak into the Casino. It was like around 8-9 plus, at this time, the security guards are pretty much quite tired, and there are big crowds swarming in, so all I had to do was to act nonchalant and follow the crowds and swarm in. I got in at around 7 the second day, I didn’t had much sleep that day, and my eyes were a bit red, I just went to cut my hair, and I wore my lens, so maybe my age looked +5, and I got in successfully. I was even picking my teeth when going in (my god, totally looked like this old ah ma). I glimpse the security guard looking at me, but he didn’t stopped me, so tadah! I got in hoho.
Maybe I was thinking too much, maybe I actually looked >21, and that’s the thing to be unhappy about haha.
I realized why my parents lost so much money in Casino. It’s really because the money in there flies away at the speed of light. I lost about 200 Singapore dollars, and I already tried losing as little money as possible, while playing all the games I wanted to try.
I played something that’s like a horse race. There’s not real horse in there (duh), so it’s machine operated, so there are options on guessing which one will come out as champion, or you can guess which 2 horses will arrive as 1st and 2nd, or just guessing which 3 horses will come out. This is quite fun, and the good thing is the money flies away at a slower speed, because guessing whichever horse takes only 2RM.
Then I played the traditional kind of game that you saw in TV dramas, which is the Big / Small game. This is quite fun too, but the money flied away pretty fast though, because every option that you choose to bet on takes 5RM.
I also tried slots, slots are the kind that really just makes money fly away, but I like playing slots the most though, maybe cuz it actually required the least thinking and struggling haha.
I played a few others, but the conclusion is that the money flies off no matter which game you play. I think I actually prefer playing arcade games haha.
Now is time for some pictures. I actually took a picture of my hair before I cutted (I know there is no cutted, stop correcting me tsk) it and after I cutted it to show the difference haha. Here goes :
Note : This picture is taken from back view, and this is no Sadako from the Ring, especially cuz there are golden streaks. Hm, if I didn’t dye my hair, it might have looked scarier.
Ah my hair~~~
Actually now that I look at this, I realised it still looks long, maybe I’d have to go cut it a bit shorter.
I’m seriously going to cut off all the golden streaks once it grows out haha.
Now some family photos xD
Okay, that’s about it, frigging lazy to upload anymore photos.
Bye~

Back from Thailand

Hello people!! Am back from the hot hot place, Thailand finally!!! Then again, if you’re okay with the weather in Singapore, you wouldn’t find it a problem to be surviving in Thailand. Actually, Thailand is hotter than in Singapore, because according to my current boss, she say that Singapore plants a lot of plants, which provides shades for us. Whereas in Thailand, it’s just concretes, and people, especially with the crowd of people, it’s super hot, I think I left a trail of oil behind me when I walk =P.

I realized I took around 100 plus photos, it’s pretty impossible to upload everything here, so I’ll just upload the critical / interesting ones.

Just got up the plane and since we had nothing better to do, then of course its the time to take picture wakaka~

When we are reaching Thailand, the air attendants gave this to us as memoirs I think, I still don’t know what flower is this though, I thought this is orchid, but why would Thai airway give us our country’s flower? Haha, anyway, I clipped it on my bag and bring it back to the hotel.

Okay, that is all for before we reach Thailand, I only took places in this same scenery~~

This was taken when we reached Baiyoke Boutique Hotel and we’re leaving on a buggy to shop in nearby streets. Uwa, my eyes look so small here wahahaha. Anyway, it felt much better sitting in a skill driver’s buggy =P. This reminds me of the time I was in buggy where we had to drive our own buggy (was really worried then).

I wanted to take pictures of the taxis over there when we were on our way to the hotel, but it’s pretty hard to take picture in the middle of the trip, so I gave it up. I only have a few pictures of the cabs..

Ai ya, out of all the colors of cabs, I only took this 3, sadded. Anyway, the main point is, the color of the cabs there is very eye catching, the pink color one caught my eye immediately. There’s still a lot of other colors, and it all came in bright colors, there’s yellow, orange, green, blue, I didn’t have my camera with me all the time so I missed the chance to take the photos *pout*.

Now is time to show the results of first day of crazy shopping, anyway, those that you see, 90% of it is my friend’s results. Only the top couple T-Shirt box is bought by me, and it’s not even for me haha.

If you think that is all, then you have to continue looking at the pictures.

The first picture is the results of first half day, we went back to the hotel like around 2 plus to take the first picture, then this above picture is taken from the second half of the first day. Hm, half of the key chains are mine, and the pants on the top. The rest belong to you-know-who (voldemort LOL).

This 2 pictures are the biggest “harvest” I got from this trip, but then again, only 1 of the 2 same bags belong to me, all others are for people.

Zzz, I will be an idiot to go to shopping places again, actually, don’t know why I bought so many bags here for =.=, I should have just got a few more bags for myself, anyway, after giving my family some of them, I don’t have much left now -.-|||.

This is the only precious picture of the streets in Bangkok, I even took this as a testing shot, ayz, I’m missing out on a lot of pictures to take of. This was taken when we were on the buggy.

Uwa, I realized I forgot to take the picture of our hotel room HAHA! Too bad, please see more pictures of me then wakaka.

Wow, I look so holy, there’s even a holy light at the top of my head *shines*.

Behind us is the lift to our hotel rooms!! But of course the focus is still us, just stare at my face *arrogant* wakaka.

This is their theme park called “Dream World”, eh, to be exact, this are the theme park games where you throw balls at bottles or shoot darts to get enough points to redeem the soft toys, just wanna show you guys how good their soft toys are. Most of the soft toys look very nice, 100000 times better than those in Genting Highland, but of course the weather in Genting win though. This theme part is a open air concept, which means -> Hot.

This is the entrance to the theme park, pity it’s not DisneyLand ~_~

Okay, am going to just upload a few more photos, else I don’t have to sleep tonight, am spending too much on this article wahaha.l

Okay, that’s about it, I’m pretty lazy to upload anymore.

Anyway, now for the conclusion. If you are a female who likes shopping a lot, especially for clothing, Bangkok is the place for you. Those clothes you saw on Bugis street are mostly sold in Bangkok and around half the price they sell it here.

Guys who go there will not be suitable though, because the things for men are very limited. As for me who is a female who don’t like shopping, I only constantly think that I went to the wrong place haha. There are also a lot of accessories for women.

Dream World theme park is the first theme park I went that is so damn hot, cuz those I’ve went before are either in door, or in colder countries, so I pretty much can’t stand the weather. There are a lot of pictures to take in Dream World though, if you have nowhere better to go, Dream World can be an option. Just that after paying for the ticket to go in to the park, you will still have to pay money for everything else in the park, including rides, which I think is a pretty stupid idea.

Anyway, next stop : Taiwan / Australia / Korea. Think colder countries are still better for me, time to save up money again haha.

The Day Before Chinese New Year

Some cotton like thingy plants in my house. I didn’t thought it was nice at first and didn’t pay much attention to it, until I saw the furry parts came out and I think it was super cute, so I helped in removing all the “shells” to expose the cotton thingy.

I think this is the most beautiful stalk in the whole plant thingy.

This is those shell like thingies that I removed from plants to reveal the cotton~~~ I’m getting really good at this, hell I can make a living out of plucking out the shells beautifully (as if).

One poor cotton thingy that dropped out of the plant when my mum adjusted everything back in place again, such a beautiful some more, it’s very good to touchy~~

And finally a whole picture took by my mum to show how the cotton like stalks of plants (Dunno what I describing man LOL!)  look like. I’m actually holding a stalk that looks uber nice, but it’s kinda hard to see it properly. Saw the rat-like thingy coming out on the top? Scroll down to see the whole pic~~

TADAH!!! Isn’t this cute~~~~ Though I think it kinda look like rats though, oh wells. THEY’RE RABBITS!!! I took this pic, isn’t it nice~~

I wanted to take a picture of this 招财猫 my mum just bought which it’s left arm will move front and back, my mum say I crazy though *pout*, so I didn’t take it wahaha.

Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year people~~~

A Trip To Bintan

I am too busy this few weeks to blog about anything at all, especially this week. I reached home exhausted, wanting to just concuss and die on bed. However, I can’t even do that, I have to work late in the night, programming with my mac on my bed, hearing the snoring from my aunt that’s sleeping beside my bed, and fighting damn hard with sleepiness that’s overcoming the caffeine effects I have from 2 bottles of 500ml POKKA green tea. In conclusion, I felt like my storage of brain cells meant for 1 month of usage is being used up all in this 1 week. I don’t know how to describe the kind of exhaustion I’m feeling man, but if I had been this hardworking in NYP, I think I’m already an NTU student, and that is how HARD I’m working for this few weeks.

Anyway, in the midst of all this chaos and uber busy schedule, I had a trip to Bintan Island last weekend. I was supposed to be blogging about this, but as I’ve said, I really couldn’t find anytime to blog at all. To make it even more detailed how exhausting these few days were, I was awake for like 16 hours a day, 2 hours for transport, 1-2 hours for eating, I’m doing work like up to 12 hours a day, think it’s more than that actually. Bah, okay, enough with the whining (Sorry people, old people like to whine hahaaha).

One thing I really regret was, I DIDN’T BRING MY FRIGGING CAMERA THERE!!! Actually, the thing is, I expected that I would just stay emo there and stuck in any random corner of the room, and even though my friend’s aunty (the one who booked the villa ) told us to bring extra clothing / swim suit there for swimming, I only brought a extra shirt there. I was resisting at first, to NOT go into the pool, but after a lot of temptation from my friend and her mum and some more friends and the temptation from the pool itself, I just went into the pool.

I had more fun than I thought I would have over there. The scenery was nice, the weather was nice, the place was nice, the pool was nice, which is why I am super super super regretful for not bringing my camera there. I got a bit darker, and because I was wearing a watch when I was in the water, now I had a mark on my wrist, and the areas covered by my shirt became whiter, somehow I think I look healthier, I think I’m more suited for a tanner look. I should really go to the pool sometimes to get myself tanner, but the thought of sharing pool with just any random people (especially these people might contain those that haven’t bathed for days, who might just urine in the pool, imagine al the dirts and germs, the idea just puts me off seriously ).  Oh well. I’ll think about it hahaha.

My friend’s mum made curry vegetable (which is really just catered to the few of us) and I had it for like 2 days, it was uber delicious. If there is one reason I would definitely go my friend’s house and not feel lazy about it would be this pot of curry vegetables. A very special experience was that we had wine in the pool, I don’t remember the name for it, but the wine is pretty nice, a bubbly wine the wine seller person says. I think this is a really rare experience, considering that I wouldn’t get to experience this kind of thing any soon (or might never happen again). Oh, second thing which I regret not bringing, goggles. I cannot swim without a goggles at all. It’s like the moment I went into the water without goggles, I would just stop breathing, and it felt like water just went into my nose.

Which reminds me, of the TRIP to Bintan. I had to wake up EARLY in the morning, I think it’s the first time in my life that I EVER work up this early. I woke up at 5am, and got out of my house at 5 35AM. I never even woke up this early in my 10 years of uniformed life (primary school and secondary school). Anyway, I woke up feeling terrible, groggy, reluctance ( I wasn’t really anticipating about this trip at all, mainly because I don’t really know the other except for my friend and her mum), got to bath and rushed out of the house. What was lucky for me was that a aunty saw me waiting for the bus and told me there’s no bus this early, her friend was waiting for her in a car, and she actually offered to drop me at the MRT station (seriously, it’s VERY very very very rare to see this kind of people around anymore).

As we were waiting to board the ship, we bought some light snack, and we saw a banana that’s going for 1 dollar each which all of us agreed that nobody will buy. The moment we sat down in our seats, there’s a westerner to our left holding  banana in his hand and we just burst out laughing. Okay, so after the ship starts sailing, they started playing video on teaching passengers to use the life jacket, I never really took notice of this kind of videos on ship or on airplane. I know that it is important but somehow I always got distracted into staring into space instead as I watched the video. Anyway, I told my friend that if the sink were to sink, I think I will really die because I just cannot concentrate on watching the video. Then, I came to a conclusion that they should give us goggles together with the life jacket, I think it will up my chance of surviving a lot more man. (“goggles” lead to 2 long paragraphs of crap haha).

Oh oh, and most importantly, I had the experience of driving a buggy. I didn’t wanna to drive it really. But it was like all 4 other people on the buggy have tried driving it, and they were all asking me to drive it, and I was thinking since this is also a new experience, I might as well just try it. And then, I really started driving the buggy, I was very worried and actually pretty confident that I wouldn’t drive it well, I really sucks when it comes to things that need both hands and legs coordination. I was too used to playing arcade whereby just a little movement would change the direction of the car a lot, so when it comes to this buggy that I’m driving, I always forgot that sometimes I would have to turn a few more rounds of the steering wheel to turn round a corner. So in the end, a minor accident occurred, I steered the buggy too much it came out of the road that’s going down slope and we just went down slope on uneven grounds instead. Still, luckily nothing happened. I think I would still wanna drive a buggy if I have the chance, it’s really pretty fun (just don’t let me have the burden of 5 people’s lives).

Hm, considering the trip to Bintan is so damn fun, I’m seriously considering of organizing a trip there again~~ Wahaha~

Okay, that’s about it, the length of 2 posts, I’m off to concuss on bed now, bye~
